Cambrosia WebViewer
[download]
View 99.9% of all WebCams using our WebCam software that integrates
all the media types under one Umbrella.
The Webcam Viewing Client
Overview
The Webviewer connects directly with the server and is immediately loads all of the Webcams. The user first clicks on the map to locate a
place of interest. The user interface has been greatly simplified from previous versions. View the image above to see how the new interface works.
The Red icons are standard non streaming vide webcams. These types of webcams are not as advanced as the Cambrosia Transmitter types that provide full streaming Video and Audio. They are updated with a new image with a update rate from 1 image per second to 1 image per day. The image update reate is completely dependent on the webcam source.
When
a user clicks on an icon in the map view a preview will be generated and displayed within the preview balloon as shown above. In some cases even full streaming video can be previewed in this way. If you desire a larger view just click on the Large View link and a popup window will be displayed the pop up will update every 15 seconds. There is also no limit to the amount of automatically refreshing popups that you can now have.

Axis Activex Control
Sometime because of the way Internet Explorer is configured the Automatic installation of the Axis Active X control does not work properly. If Axis cams are still not viewable try the Instructions below:
1. Change Internet Explorer Security Settings
First, assure that your Internet Explorer is set to accept download and running of Active X components. The current setting can be found and changed under Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level. After making this change, close your browser and then reopen it and access the CEE CAM LIVE VIDEO PAGE AT http://cedareden.com/video.html. If the ActiveX component does not install, proceed to the next step.
2. Change the registry of your Windows machine to force activeX to reload when you visit the CEE CAM live video page
- Go into the registry by issuing command regedt32 from Start->Run.
- Search for AxisCamControl and you will find a directory beginning with 9176.
- Delete this directory and access the camera again at http://cedareden.com/video.html. The ActiveX should automatically install. If the ActiveX component does not install, proceed to the next step.
3. Manual installation of Axis Camera ActiveX Controls (Note to other Axis Webmasters: Please DO NOT LINK to this software. . . . link to your OWN camera, or risk being prosecuted for criminal trespassing & stealing bandwidth. See www.axis.com for more information.)
Download AxisCamControl directly from the camera/video server. This is available here as AxisCamControl.cab. Download this file on your PC and unpack it. From a command prompt (Start >Run>cmd) go to the directory where you have unpacked the files (with cd command) and run the following commands:
regsvr32 AxisCamControl.ocx
regsvr32 CamCli.dll
Also, copy ijl11.dll file to c:\Windows\system32.
After this open an Internet Explorer window and access the CEE CAM LIVE VIDEO PAGE AT http://cedareden.com/video.html This will help you verify that your axis cam control is working properly.
